About Logs

You can use System Administration to specify the following aspects of the KANA Response Server logs:

For detailed information on the logging mechanism, see the KANA Installation and Configuration Guide for Response.

NOTE: The exact format of the HTML-formatted logs is specified by an XSL stylesheet in the system's shared directory (log.xsl). In order to open up the files in XML format, you need to save the files in the same directory as a copy of the log.xsl file. The HTML-formatted logs look the same as the XML formatted ones, but you do not need to keep track of an XSL style sheet.
