Scrubbing Log Files

Log scrubbing is the feature of Response from version Aluminum 17R1 that will scrub all information related with customer information (name, email address, phone, and address).

There are 2 variable that affect how log scrubbing tool's behavior:

• synchronizeLog value (true/false) on product settings
• Keep Original Log Files (checked/unchecked) on Scrubbing Log Panel

If synchronizeLog value is true:

• Response will scrub all log files in folder locallogs on Response Server folder
• The scrubbed log files will be put on scrubbedlogs in folder locallogs

If synchronizeLog value is false:

• Response will scrub all log files in folder shareddir\logs on Response Server folder
• The scrubbed log files will be put on scrubbedlogs in folder shareddir\logs

Checking option Keep Original Log Files will make sure that the original log files will not be deleted after log scrubbing.

In System Administration:

1. Click the Logs icon.

2. Click Generate Scrubbed Log.

The scrubbed log files will be cleaned from the scrubbed files location as per the product setting of cleaning up log files older than x days.
