A Mail Sender is the KANA Response component that sends e-mail using an SMTP server that you specify. In the system configuration file, a KANA Response Administrator can define the number of Mail Senders for each partition. See Cluster Manager online help and the KANA Installation and Configuration Guide for Response for more information on configuring Mail Senders.
In System Administration, you can:
Stop and start Mail Senders on the current partition
Set parameters for all Mail Senders on the current partition
NOTE: KANA Response is not an email program. It is an application for providing information quickly and accurately in response to customer questions. To enable HTML format for outgoing messages, see Outgoing Mail Settings.
