This window has the following sections:

This section displays the status of the mail receivers and enables you to stop and restart them. If the green light on the left is lit, then all mail receivers are running. If the yellow light in the middle is lit, then some mail receivers are running and some are not. If the red light on the right is lit, then all mail receivers are stopped.

Parameters section

Sleep time (in seconds)

Indicates how often, in minutes, you want to run the mail receivers. The default setting is 1. Because this setting determines how often KANA Response downloads incoming messages, be sure to set this parameter to ensure timely responses. You can select 0, however this causes your system to access the POP server constantly, resulting in slower application performance, large log files, and possible failure of the POP server. It is strongly recommended that you allow a sleep time of at least one minute.

MIME Mappings

Indicates the Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) mappings for the current partition. Edit existing mappings or add new ones directly in the list. To add a new mapping, scroll to the bottom of the list and click in the empty space.

Skipping Problematic Messages

If selected, Mail Receiver skips the problematic/stuck messages in Pop server and continue with the rest of the messages. This way, Mail Receiver will not get choked with the processing the problematic messages.
