Category Text Report

Use this report to view the text of all categories, including the full template text. Categories are labels users can apply to incoming messages. A hotkey is an abbreviation for the category name. When a category definition includes a hotkey, users can assign the category to messages more quickly, typing the hotkey rather than using buttons and dialogs.

This report maps to this DB View: CategoryView, which shows information on categories in the KANA system.

Output

Output format

Select the output that you want the report to be delivered in.  This can be DHTML, HTML, Applet, PDF, text, Excel, PS (PostScript), RTF and XML.

Language

Select the language in which you want the report to be delivered.

Channel

Select the method that indicates how the message was received by Response (e-mail or form message).

Select this option to find by all.

Fields

Select this option to search using the available query fields.

Category

Enter the name of a category assigned to incoming messages and used in responses.

Hotkey

Enter the characters assigned to a category to allow for quick entry of a category in an outgoing message.
