Preferences

Use this window to set default preferences for your inbox. You can set how often to refill your inbox with new messages, specify your default origination address, select to automatically spell check all outgoing messages (recommended!), and select your standard default phrases.

Responding to Messages

Automatically refill Inbox

Select this option to refill your inbox automatically. Once your inbox is empty, and there are messages in the queue that you belong to, the messages will be added to your inbox. If you don't want to do this automatically, you can use the Download More Messages icon in the inbox.

Automatically pre-fill all recipients (Reply All)

Select this option to automatically have the recipient list filled with all recipients that were in the incoming mail.

Automatically reply to address with <Original Sender>

Select this option to automatically include the Original Sender in the outgoing e-mail recipient list. If the above setting - Automatically pre-fill all recipients (Reply All) - is selected, then this option is ignored.

Number of messages to download at a time

Allows users to specify the amount of messages they want to download at a time.

Display Message Content Tab for Incoming Message

Select this option to display Message Content tab for any message selected in inbox except Originated and Campaign messages.

Including incoming message when responding to

Select this option if you want to include the incoming e-mail message when you are creating the response

 e-mail.

Default origination address

Select the default e-mail address that will display in all of your originations and outgoing contact messages.

Default Portal

An Agent can set the required portal as a default portal by selecting it from the Default Portal drop down list.  The selected portal appears as a default portal when the  user logs in.

Choose Font Attributes

Agents can have their own default font settings for outgoing response. Administrator should provide permission to make agents to have their own. If there is no permission, then Choose Font button will be disabled.

NOTE: Only the administrator can set the required portal  as a default portal, which needs to appear when the respective user logs in.  

Automatically check spelling

Select this option if you want to automatically check the spelling of each message before sending.

Spell check possessives word

Select this option to instruct the spell checker to check possessive words (i.e. spell check words ending in apostrophe s e.g. Response's or Adam's)

Block downloading images from external resources for HTML messages

Select this option to stop the application from downloading external resources referenced to from within the HTML of messages.

Always include incoming attachments when replying

Select this option to automatically include incoming attachments to replies. When this option is selected then "Include incoming attachments" option in Details pane in Outgoing Message window will be selected automatically for messages with attachments.

Default Standard Phrases

Greeting

Select the default greeting that will be used in your e-mail messages.

Header

Select the default header that will be used in your e-mail messages.

Footer

Select the default footer that will be used in your e-mail messages.

Signature

Select the default signature that will be used in your e-mail messages.

User Profile

Password

Enter your password in this field.

Confirm Password

Re-enter your password in this field.

Vacation

Select this option if you are in "vacation mode".

Route mail to

Select the e-mail address of the person you want to route your mail to.

  

Note: Passwords should comply with the restrictions set by the administrator.

Statistics

Never automatically update

Select this option if you don't want your statistics to update automatically.

Update statistics automatically every X minutes

Select this option if you want your statistics to automatically update, and enter the number of minutes.


Component Text alignment

Left-To-Right

Select this option for left to right text alignment in outgoing messages, commonly used for English, Chinese and Japanese

 

Right-To-Left

Select this option for right to left text alignment in outgoing messages, commonly used for Arabic, Hebrew and Syriac
