Changing Your Password and Vacation Options
When you go on vacation, it is important to set vacation options which will route any of your incoming messages to another department, queue, or user. Occasionally, you may need to change your password. You can do this by changing your Preferences.
To change your password
- On the main toolbar, select Program > Preferences.
- In the User Profile region, enter your password information.
- Click OK.
Note: Passwords should comply with the restrictions set by the administrator.
To select vacation options
- On the main toolbar, select Program > Preferences.
- In the User Profile region, select the Vacation check box.
- In the Route mail to field, select who or where you want to route the mail to from the drop-down list.
- Click OK.
Tip: When you log in after you return from vacation, KANA Response automatically switches you from vacation mode.
