Message States

The following is a list of states that a message can be in.

Inactive	messages that are inactive (queued in a folder).
Active	a message that is active (in an agent's mailbox). The message is currently being processed. It may be displayed in the Inbox or may be waiting to be displayed (such as a message that is awaiting a response to a request for collaboration). A message remains active until being closed by applying an action of: answer, redirect, or No Answer.
Saved	a message that has been saved in an agent's mailbox.
Read	an active message that has been read.
Track parent	a message that is waiting for some action to be performed on the parent message.
Pending send	a message that is ready to be sent by the mail sender.
Pending Collaborate	a message that is waiting for a response from a collaborator.
Pending Forward Track	a message that is waiting for a response from a forward-and-track action.
Completed	a message that is completed, and has been responded to.
Pending Delete	a message that is awaiting delete.
Pending Rules	a message that is pending, based on rules.
Pending Completion	a message that is pending completion, based on an action.
Pending External Processing	a message that is pending, based on external processing.
