Use this window to enter or change information in the custom fields. As with merge fields, each custom field represents other data. For each field, your administrator can specify the field’s name, description, value type, and whether the information applies to Customers or Messages. For example, your company can add fields that are specific to its business such as customer account number or equipment serial number.
Note: The custom fields are set up by your administrator in KANA Content Administration. If there are any custom fields that are defined by your administrator, they are automatically displayed in this window. If there are no custom fields defined, the Custom Fields section is blank.
