Cloning Users:
When "Clone selected user" button is pressed (third button from the left on Users Department screen), all user properties are copied from selected user to a new user. Description field displays information what user was the cloned user copied from. For cloned user, an administrator needs to provide unique name and password. Queue assignments and departments are saved when cloned user is saved.
Note: User Roles Hierarchy applies
when cloning an user. User can clone another user with the same or lower
hierarchy.
In Content Administration:
1. Select the user that you want to clone and click "Clone selected user" button. (Third button from the left)
2. You will see empty user name and passwords field and description saying "This user has been cloned from user <selected user> with id : <selected user ID">.
3. Fill in user details and save.
Note: All Queue and Departments assignments are saved when cloned user is saved. They're blank before saving so no queues / departments assignments changes should be done before saving cloned user in order to correctly clone queues / departments assignments.
