Signatures

Use this window to manage standard closes for messages. To display this window, click the Signatures entry under Standard Phrases for the appropriate department.

This window has the following panes:

Signatures pane

The Signatures pane displays the standard signatures created for the current department. It lists the following information for each signature.

Name

Displays the name assigned to the signature. Click the Name heading to change the sort order of the signature.

Text

Displays the signature text.

Signature (details) pane

The Signature pane displays the information for adding or editing a signature. You open this pane by selecting an existing signature in the Signatures pane or by clicking the Create a new entry icon in the toolbar. It contains the following information:

Name

Indicates the name you want to assign to the signature. This name must be unique within the current department.

Department

Indicates the department that will own the signature.

Text

Indicates the text of the signature. See Composing text.
