Use this window to manage standard closes for messages. To display this window, click the Signatures entry under Standard Phrases for the appropriate department.
This window has the following panes:
The Signatures pane displays the standard signatures created for the current department. It lists the following information for each signature.
Name |
Displays the name assigned to the signature. Click the Name heading to change the sort order of the signature. |
Text |
Displays the signature text. |
The Signature pane displays the information for adding or editing a signature. You open this pane by selecting an existing signature in the Signatures pane or by clicking the Create a new entry icon in the toolbar. It contains the following information:
Name |
Indicates the name you want to assign to the signature. This name must be unique within the current department. |
Department |
Indicates the department that will own the signature. |
Text |
Indicates the text of the signature. See Composing text. |
