You compose text for acknowledgements, response templates, category templates, and so on. KANA Response provides the same text composer for each of these items. In addition to the area for typing in the text, the text composer includes the following options:

Reverses the last change you made. |

Reapplies the change you undid. |

Spell check text with default language icon |
Checks the spelling of the text in the composer using the default language configured for your account. |

Spell check text in another language icon |
Checks the spelling of the text in the composer using the language you select from the menu displayed when you click the icon. |

Insert solution from KANA IQ server icon |
Provides access to a KANA IQ knowledge base so that you can insert text or a URL from that knowledge base. This option is available if your KANA Response system is integrated with KANA IQ, |

Plain Text / HTML editor |
The Text Editor used to compose text could be either Plain Text Editor or Rich Text Editor / HTML Editor. Use this button to toggle between Plain Text and HTML editor.
If you toggle from HTML to Plain Text editor, the format changes are lost and cannot be reverted. |

Insert merge fields into the text icon |
Inserts the merge fields you select into the text in the composer. |
Note: The toggle button from "P" to "H" is visible only when HTML Enable checkbox in Mail Settings of Content Administration is selected.
