Categories are labels users can apply to incoming messages.
This report lets you see how multiple categories are being applied to messages. The final page of the report shows the number of categorization instances that were assigned to categories within the Root department or the category you choose in the Find Criteria fields.

This report maps to this DB View: PivotCategoryView, which shows the cross category roll-ups for messages received, by category.
Select the output that you want the report to be delivered in. This can be DHTML, HTML, Applet, PDF, text, Excel, PS (PostScript), RTF and XML.
Select the language in which you want the report to be delivered.
Displays the method format that indicates how the message was received by Response.

Select this option to find by a date range. The database searches for completed messages within this date range. Select the date range from the menu:

Select this option to search using the available query fields.
Enter category level you want to see. If you have a hierarchy of three levels and want to see data for all your categories, you must enter 3 in this field. If you enter 2, the second level category includes data from child categories, but you will not be able to see which third-level child categories were assigned to messages.
Select the reference point category. The report shows all the categories that were also applied to messages assigned to the category you chose.
Enter the name of a category assigned to incoming messages and used in responses.
Enter the name of a category that you would like to exclude from the data.
Enter the name of a category that you want to exclude from the data.
Select the date range you want to search from the menu. The choices are:

This Year
Yesterday
Last Week
Last Month
Last Year
Beginning Date – Type the start date of the period you want the report to cover. The format is MM/DD/YYYY.
Ending Date – Type the end date of the period you want the report to cover. The format is MM/DD/YYYY.
