Adding a Phone Number to a Customer Profile
A customer can have more than one phone number. This can happen when there is more than one office or an alternate number that the customer can be reached at. The number can be entered in any format, with hyphens, spaces, letters, or 800 numbers.
To add a phone number
- In your Inbox, click the View the customer profile icon on your toolbar.
- Click Edit in the Customer Profile window.
- Select a description and enter the phone number in the Customer Phone Information dialog box.
- Click Add.
- Click OK.
To edit a phone number
- In your Inbox, click the View the customer profile icon on your toolbar.
- Click Edit in the Customer Profile window.
- Select the phone number that you want to edit in the Customer Phone Number List.
- Click Edit.
- Make changes to the phone number.
- Click Add.
- Click OK.
To delete a phone number
- In your Inbox, click the View the customer profile icon on your toolbar.
- Click Edit in the Customer Profile window.
- Select the phone number that you want to delete.
- Click the Delete icon.
- Click OK.
