Saving and Modifying Incoming Attachments

Use this window to save any attachments from Incoming messages.

 

NB: Multiple attachments can be saved at a time.

 

To save attachments

  1. Select the message with attachments that have to be saved.

  2. In the Incoming Message window, click the Details tab and select the attachments to be saved.

  3. Click the Save icon.

  4. Select the location you want to save the attachments to.

  5. Click Save.

  6. If any of the attachments already exist in the directory selected, you will be asked to confirm that you want to overwrite the existing file. Select Yes to save over the existing file, or No to skip saving that particular attachment.

To modify and send an incoming attachment

If you want to modify an incoming attachment, then send it to another recipient, you will need to save the attachment to your local computer. If the attachment is not saved locally, the modifications will be lost. To modify the attachment:

  1. Select the message with the attachment that needs to be modified.

  2. Open the attachment and modify the file.

  3. Save the modified attachment on your local computer. See "To save an attachment" above for help.

  4. Select the file from your computer and attach it to the outgoing email.

  5. Click Send.
